- Insurance sales agents will act as intermediaries between insurance companies and prospective buyers, including individuals and businesses. They advise customers on the insurance policies that best suit each client's needs. Previous experience preferred but NOT required.
- The primary task is selling our products to interested parties. To accomplish this task, insurance agents must be active in seeking out new clients and explaining types of coverage, benefits and discounts. Knowledge and understanding various product lines is also preferred but NOT required.
- Additionally, insurance agents must fill-out and submit applications, issue quotes, maintain client records and prepare reports. In the event of a claim, agents help their customers file and receive financial compensation for their loss.
